Practices (as of 5/23/11 -- a little different from what was previously posted)
After school practices start TUESDAY MAY 29th, the day after Memorial Day, as follows:
Monday through Friday afternoons
Ages 10/under, 5:00-5:45pm
Ages 11 and up, 5:30-5-6:30pm
A brief Parent Meeting will be held at
5:30 on Tuesday, May 29th.
There will be no practice
on Friday, June 1st.
Starting MONDAY JUNE 18th:
Monday through Friday mornings
Ages 8/under, 8:00-8:45am
Ages 9-10, 8:00-9:00am
Ages
11/up, 8:45-10:00am
Minis 10:15-10:45am
Evening Practices on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays
All Ages, 5:00-6:00pm
While school is still in session, we are going to hold a special mini practice from 4:30-5:00. If your child was in minis last year and was able to compete in a B or A meet or if your child swam over the winter and you feel he/she is capable, we are encouraging them to attend the 4:30 practice. If we feel that your child is not ready we will let you know. After June 18th we will discuss whether your child belongs in the 8 and under practice group at 8 am or the mini practice group at 10:15. SOC to Host NVSL Division 16 Relay Carnival, Wed Jul 11
Not only does this mean we will need “all hands on deck” volunteer to make this a successful and fun event. It also means that all six teams within our division will be at our pool on a Wed. evening looking to purchase dinner. Therefore, we are on the lookout for a restaurant willing to donate food. If you have any ideas, please contact us ASAP.

Stingrays Swim NVSL Division 16 This Year
A year after being crowned Division 17 champions in 2011, the Stingrays are moving up to Division 16 for the 2012 season. The challengers to another winning season are Lake Braddock, Pleasant Valley, Herndon, Hollin Hills and Lincolnia Park.
